The 2025 Festival of Archaeology will take place between the 19th July to the 3rd August 2025 following the theme “Archaeology and Wellbeing”. The Festival brings history to life, inspiring curiosity, learning, and engagement with the past.

Each year, the Council for British Archaeology connect thousands of people across the UK with archaeology through events, activities, and digital content. By submitting your event to the CBA Festival of Archaeology you will have access to some amazing resources that are available all year round. This includes the use of the official Festival of Archaeology branding (logos and banners), a range of toolkits to help you develop your event and guidance to help you with the practicalities like risk assessments, safeguarding and evaluation.
