Welsh Museums Festival

Thanks to Welsh Government funding, the Federation is launching this year’s Festival grant programme. Further details of the Festival itself, will be launched later.

The applications will be assessed against a range of criteria from Welsh Government priorities, Accreditation standards and the museum’s Forward Plan.

To apply for a grant, applicants must be a member of the Federation and be an accredited (or working towards Accreditation) museum.

This year’s closing date for applications is 16th August 2024, with applications being informed by the 23rd August.

This scheme has been made possible with funding from the Welsh Government through the Culture Division, and with support from the Federation of Museums and Art Galleries of Wales.
