What would museums want to include?

Museums Federation Cymru will be holding its annual conference and AGM this year in Newport, Gwent, at The Newport Boat. The conference will be in the morning with the AGM following on after lunch. Both are hybrid meetings and we hope members will attend both.

The new Welsh Government has opened a consultation, A Vision for Culture and Sport in Wales, asking people, organisations, communities and partners to help them understand the current state of culture and sport to shape a shared national vision. The conference and discussions will help the Federation and individual member organisations develop their responses to the consultation. Members of the cultural consultation team will be present to explain the process and outline key issues. There will be inputs from the Future Generations Commission and the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

The AGM commences at 2.00 pm and will be followed by several short presentations about projects undertaken using the Federation’s grant programmes.
