The Federation’s committee are delighted to announce that this year’s conference will take place at Storiel Bangor. This is an election year, and the focus of the conference is the Federation’s Manifesto entitled A Manifesto for Museums: Securing our Future.
This will be a hybrid conference, but as there are few opportunities to meet and network with other professionals, we would encourage you to attend in person at Storiel on Thursday 5th March 2026. The museum is accessible by public and your own transport and grants will be available.
Speakers will develop the various aims of the Manifesto, which includes: A Wales Culture Bill, Intangible Cultural Heritage, Wellbeing, Language, Spotlight 2025 and a Recognition Scheme for collections.
