The Welsh Government is gathering evidence on the culture sector’s approach to tackling climate and nature issues.

Regen, in partnership with Carbon Trust and the Energy Saving Trust, have been commissioned to carry out sector research, gather evidence from important stakeholders and deliver suggestions for future planning. This project needs engagement from stakeholders of the culture sector, including museums, archive services, libraries, Arts Portfolio Wales organisations and historic environment sites.

A survey has been developed to record quantitative evidence.  Please respond if you work within museums in Wales and are able to answer questions around your organisation’s strategic processes and operational procedures related to net-zero and climate action. Your valuable input will guide Welsh Government in determining the most effective ways to support the sector to tackle the climate and nature emergencies.

The closing date for the survey is the 18th February 2024.
