The aim of this research study was to collect quantitative data on visitor wellbeing using the UCL Museum Wellbeing Measures Toolkit.

Ten case studies of wellbeing projects from Welsh museums have been collected into a publication. The resource shares best practice from the Welsh museums sector with the aim to encourage more museums to engage in wellbeing work.

The UCL Museum Wellbeing Measures Toolkit is a set of scales of measurement used to assess levels of wellbeing arising from participation in museum and gallery activities that has been trialled across the UK.

The Museums Association has acted as the champion and guardian of UK museum ethics since the first Codes of Practice and Conduct were published in 1977.
