DESCRIPTION:Pyro art workshop based around Welsh myths and legends\n\nWelsh
  Myths and Tales through the art of Pyrography with Mr Kobo\n\nAs part of 
 the Welsh Museums Festival Storiel the Museum of Gwynedd are proud to pres
 ent a series of interactive PyroArt workshops inviting children and famili
 es to explore the mysterious world of Welsh folklore through the ancient a
 rt of pyrography (woodburning).\n\nParticipants will learn how to draw and
  write using this unique artform to create wooden works of art inspired by
  ghostly tales and characters such as Y Ladi Wen\, Yr Hwch Ddu Gota and Ja
 c y Lantarn\, while celebrating the myths and legends of the ancient Celts
 .\n\nEach session will begin with a short introduction to one or more of t
 hese tales\, sparking imaginative thinking and creative interpretation. Gu
 ided by local artist Mr Kobo (Nader Kohbodi)\, participants will then desi
 gn and add their images into wood.\n\nThe workshops aim to connect creativ
 e expression with Welsh heritage learning\, combining storytelling\, tradi
 tional crafts\, and the use of Welsh-language terms\, tales and characters

 icipants must be acompanied by a parent or guardian .\n\nThese workshops a
